Customising your theme (v5)

To give your blog's theme a personal touch, you can always customise it as much (or as little) as you want. To do so, in your blog's administration interface go to the Look'n'Feel tab, and click on Skin Manager. From the page that opens, select Customise Theme. This is the page you will see.
There are three different elements here. The first one is the blog header image chooser. This is simply the banner image that will appear in your blog's header. It can be any of the pre-created ones, or you can upload your own image.
The second element is the colour palette. For each theme, you can assign a particular colour scheme that will be applied to all elements that use the default theme style settings. You can select from one of the pre-created schemes, or create your own.
The third element can be found in the Add/Edit Custom CSS link, which will open a new page through where you can place CSS code that affects your entire blog. This is certainly the most powerful of these three elements, but which also requires more technical knowledge than the others. If you do a 'view-source' in the Preview tab for your blog's main page, you will discover which elements you can override, by using standard CSS targeting directives.
All changes are saved automatically.
